Yes!!!! But will take more than just the MLE. :(

Anyways, Spurs would be hard pressed to pull off a S&T unless the Clippers would take back some of their crap.

EXACTLY the kind of player the spurs need at this time.

PG-Parker
SG-Maggette subGinobili
SF-Bowen subFinley
PF-Duncan subMahimni
C-Oberto subThomas

looks great to me!

Just another pipe dream... :depressed

At most, the Spurs could offer a 5 year, $32 mil contract using their MLE.

So obviously it would take a S&T.

Marcus Bryant boosting his post count :rollin

Dood, when will you realize that these treads are necessary so that timvp can index them properly?

bads: injury prone player, his 3ball is weak (although he is streaky with it), plays one on one ball too much at times, not a good passer

goods: knows how to get to the FT line, good rebounder, great finisher, good midrange game, knows how to score at any time

doesn't need to boost it... he already has over a million posts.. :wow

I love the Free Agent and Draft Prospect threads... :king

I advocated this acquisition all last season. He certainly would solve the delimma for the 4th scorer. Don't think it will happen as he is looking for big $$$.

It would be a great option.

Too bad we don't have money to get him

He didn't opt out to take less money, and with Sterling's absolute love affair with Maggette, I would imagine he's the only player on this planet that will get a raise from Clippers ownership.

If the Clippers balk at his contract demands, however, he could find himself in a predicament....similar to the Bonzi Wells situation of a few years ago. If that were to happen, he would be my #1 choice for a multi-year full MLE deal.

YES...Corey Magette should be a Spurs. Duncan, TP and Manu + Corey = Invincible. Celtics can have Big 3, we will have Fantastic Four then

For Once in a Lifetime....Spurs already try to save money all these years, just dump old & expiring contracts players such as Horry, KT even Finley. Ian and Barry can replace them.

This will create necessaryt cap and we still got full MLE and LLE.

I know this is a longshot but please let there be a miracle.

It looks like Maggette is going to opt out of his contract & he is pretty much expecting a MLE contract....thats IF he doesn't want to play for the CLipps anymore...the Clipps are probably going to offer a 4 year $40 mil deal according to news reports out today...he is exactly what we need.

Marcus Bryant

Should receive more than the MLE, but at least there will be one more quality swingman hitting the free agent market.

An article on Maggette from Hoopsworld. Consider this source, but may be worth watching just the same.

Sign him up...burn all our MLE and LLE..let KT,Finley,Damon go coz we got Hill and Mahinmi. Horry can hang around for vet minimum...that should make up the salary required

if he wants an mle deal why not

he's a good defender or an average one like i think ? i didn't saw him last years so if somebody can tell me about his defense

if he's a correct on defense and wants an mle deal as hoops article said he would be a nice addition

for orlando to add maggette via the fa will be difficult as they are loaded with big contracts , sign and trade maybe

I honestly the Spurs could get him with a sign and trade. I would love this guy on the Spurs. My Clippers would miss him, but oh well.
