Referring to the first Black presidential candidate's wife as his 'Baby Mama.' Nice job Fox News. Your appeal to bigotry and ignorance knows no bounds.

You're right. We shouldn't criticize cable news. The medium's reputation for integrity is beyond reproach.

Hell, evidently his children are bastards. Maybe they can play with John McCain's illegitimate Black child.

Hell, after doing some research, it looks like Michelle once referred to Barack as her "Baby Daddy." I still think it's wrong, but it's kind of hard to slam Fox News after that.....:bang
BLITZER: Was he the first president of the Harvard Law Review?
WATSON: First African American president of the Harvard Law Review.
BLITZER: That's what I meant.
KING: He's made it. I think he's coming.
WATSON: He's coming up.
BLITZER: We can take a look. Maybe he will and maybe he won't but she looks like she's about to introduce him. Let's listen in.
MICHELLE OBAMA, WIFE OF BARACK OBAMA: My baby's daddy Barack Obama. Yeah!
BARACK OBAMA, SENATOR-ELECT, ILLINOIS: Thank you, Illinois. Thank you. Thank you, Illinois. I don't know about you but I'm still fired up. I am fired up. Look at this crowd. Thank you, Illinois.

According to Urban Dictionary, informal definitions include:
"The mother of a man's child when the parents are not married"
"The mother of one's child. The connotation is that mother and father do not and never did have any relationship beyond being sex partners.
Contrast: ex-wife, ex-girlfriend."
"The mother of your child(ren), whom you did not marry and with whom you are not currently involved."
"A term used to define an unmarried young woman (but can be a woman of any age) who has had a child.
As mentioned before in another definition, most of the time it is used for when it was simply a sexual relationship, compared to ex-wife or girlfriend.
Usually this has a negative connotation, a lot of baby mamas are seen as desperate, gold digging, emotionally starved, shady women who had a baby out of spite or to keep a man. Sometimes they may act like this because of missed child support payments, unfulfilled promises by the father, or convenient sex by the father."

It is his baby mama though.
Not really....
The Oxford English Dictionary defines baby-daddy as "the father of a woman's child, who is not her husband or (in most cases) her current or exclusive partner." The baby-mama entry follows the same template with the genders reversed.

"Now his wife is getting all hood"
She made that comment in 2004, when he was elected to the Senate.
I only posted it because I'm sure the Fox lovers would have pointed it out as a defense.

I do, but they said "Baby Mama", which doesn't rhyme.
Should have went with "Michelle My Belle", now there's a rhyme for ya.
I don't think much is being made of the remark, and rightly so.

What was the full quote in context? I haven't seen or heard it, have you? In context? Could it have been "Baby Mama" with "Obama" said the same place in the sentence before of after? Better yet "maybe Obama?"
Looks like to me people are jumping to conclusions. No link is given. I at least keep an open mind to possibilities instead of jumping to conclusoions.

It was the title of an unpublished article, and it read as follows:
"More Drama with the Mama of Obama's Baby", so yeah, there is rhyming in there.

How can it be racist to talk about Obama, isn't he as much
white as he is black? Just checking. Maybe he is just a
white cracker.

All's fair in politics, right? I don't care what they say about Obama bin Liberal's wife as long as it isn't a real stretch.
Now I couldn't find it said anywhere, however, the caption with Michelle Maulkin does say "Outraged Liberal: Stop picking on Obama's Baby Mama!"

I can most readily interpret that what Maulkin says that Mrs. Obama is acting like a baby, and that is true!
Then "Obama Mama" is already a slogan too of sorts:
