Kobe isn't overrated talent wise, but he's no MJ.

This was a team loss IMHO, and definitely no fault of Kobe's. He didn't make the Lakers stop playing defense for 3 quarters.

People forget MJ had one of the best supporting casts ever assembled. The Chicago Bulls played amazing defense, hell even the 3-peat Lakers could muster up some impressive defense when needed. This Laker team just can't get stops when they need to and that is why they lost this game.

It's not that hard to be amused by a team's choke job. A lot of fans like to watch other teams lose just as much as bandwagoners/fairweather fans shamelessly root for a team they haven't followed for six years.
