You'ld have to be mighty naive to watch these games down through the years and not suspect any maleficence. The fact of the matter is (just like with the Barry call) referees have determined outcome of games for years.

It's called SHADING - coloring the background to change the overall picture.
And why not, the business and marketing of the game is now bigger than the game itself. Ratings, jerseys and advertising in large markets is what drives this corruption.

It's not a perfect science. If it were SA would have never earned it's first trophy and you can beat SHADING, but only if you play perfectly down the stretch.

This is also why old fossils like Dick Bavetta continue to work. He's an insider (old guard) just like Joey "mood disorder" Crawford. Wake up people...the cat's out of the bag. Hold Stern and the rest of his lying minions accountable and we'll get a better league in return. Continue living in denial and you'll enjoy the status quo. It's your choice.

I submit game 6 of the WCF-2006. The last seven possessions the Mavericks had, they got "fouled". That resulted in 13 points and a Dallas victory forcing the infamous game seven.

Spurs won that game.

The Spurs didn't play in the WCF that year....it was Pheonix/Dallas.

WTF?! It was the WC semifinals, and the Spurs won Game 6 forcing the "infamous Game 7".

Then it was game 4 of the semis because it was at Dallas. Dick Bavetta officiated.

So game 4 forced the "infamous" game 7?

That's some damn good manipulation.
