I remember that. He was awesome. I still remember the two steals he had on Kobe...

Kobe was so pissed after Manu poked that ball away from him in that last clip.

Time has not been good to him, he has aged considerabley in 5 years. He looks so young in that clip. Wow. I guess the stress of NBA life is bad for your appearnce (age wise, balding and aging apperance.)

The thing is that he's not that old.

But he could use some lotion :D

Glide is living proof you don't need to have firm skin and fluffy hair to dunk with aplomb (you can't fight genetics.) I myself am a dunking baldy-man. What bothers me is that he NEVER dunks in the lane anymore. Not in 07-08. Beijing isn't gonna help, either (yeah, I'm still not over it.)

As much as I hate to give credit to an ESPN analyst Skip Bayless may have a point in mentioning he's looking like a very fractured & beaten-up 30. I hope he's wrong.

It is all that stress of playing for the Spurs and Argentina... he plays all season long and during the summer too when you are supposed to be resting and getting ready for next season. All that wear and tear is catching up. Hope we get some wings to help so Manu can get rest during the season.

Didn't he have his best season as a spur and got hurt near the end of the seaon or the beginning of the playoffs. Another example of perception is reality

I don't know, I doubt there's going to be another player, Argentinian or not, with the same kind of humble flair that Manu has.

Anyone know his line from that game? That wasn't bad for a first rookie game. I think Manu only averaged like 7 or 8 points that first season.

7pts, 3/9 FG, 1/4 3pt, 2 rebs, 3 assists, 4 stls, 1 blk, 2 TOs, 3PF, 20min. He averaged 7.6ppg in his first season.

Three championships later, gold medals later, I'll take Manu's "aging" over the past five years any day. Straight up winner and champion.

Well, he was 25 guys...now he's almost 31. I mean, it was 5 years ago. Anyone would look older 5 years later, especial 30+.

Yeah, he just matured.
I think if Manu was clean shaven this season, he wouldn't look so much older. (Besides his burgeoned baldspot of course)
He looked like Freddie Prince Jr. in his rookie year with that haircut.

Seriously. He's unique. Can't wait to see him suit up for the Summer games.

When they played that NBA amazing happens commercial the other day, and they showed all the players from the playoffs.
"Aw man, the Spurs! there's Manu" I already miss seeing them play.

And Kobe wonders why Bowen used to get under him when he was in the air shooting.
