Ugh. Heard it was something to do with diabetes. How old is she? Hope she's alright.

The Celtics are scheduled to fly to Boston tomorrow morning. Is there any reason to worry that this could keep Ray Allen from being ready for Game 6 on Tuesday?

A source with knowledge of the situation said he doubted it.

He's playing. His daughter is sick, but saying he could miss game 6 is just a bunch hoopla.

He'll be a laker next year as Boston will let him out of his contract to care for his daughter in LA. :)

Ok, I kid...I hope he plays, but family is more important.

That sucks for Ray Allen and his family. But, plenty of people in the world have to deal with family illnesses, injury, disease, life-threatening or not, and still be strong enough to go to work and be productive. Unless she is on her deathbed, which we all pray she is not, Ray Allen would be best served just being strong and continuing to work hard trying to help the Celtics win a championship. It's very unfortunate, but it's part of life. Ray Allen has too be mentally and emotionally strong right now.

This is scripted.

Im just kidding. Best wishes for Ray-Ray's daughter and I hope he uses this as motivation. no partying for him after they win the championship, he goes straight home to the hospital and comforts her child.

He'll play, the last thing you want is to be in a game 7 situation going up against Kobe Bryant. 2 min to go in a tie game with him on the floor and a title on the line is about as scary as it gets. He is not going to let his teammates down, he'll be there.

I wish he plays in game 6 so there won't be any excuses after we won the game in bean town.
