Denon offers $500 ethernet cable (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I1X6PM/?&tag=enduser-20)

Do you want an ethernet cable that shows you've made it? You work hard, and it's time to reward yourself with an electronic accessory for seasoned audiophiles.

It's the Denon AKDL1 dedicated link cable.

Fashioned from only the finest copper and shielded with a proprietary space-age fluoropolymer, this five-foot gem preserves the clearest, crispest 1's and 0's in your digital transmission, with twice the amplitude of budget cables, and unaffected by vibration, distortion, or flutter. Lesser cables are muddled with 0.9's and 0.1's.

Denon has perfected its proprietary unidirectional Ethernet technology, which allows for more precise signal control than lesser, bidirectional cables.

So, show those around you that you aren't willing to settle. That someone with your sharp mind recognizes that you get what you pay for.

I actually bought twelve of them.

From the product description:

"Get the purest digital audio you've ever experienced from multi-channel DVD and CD playback through your Denon home theater receiver with the AK-DL1 dedicated cable. Made of high-purity copper wire, it's designed to thoroughly eliminate adverse effects from vibration and helps stabilize the digital transmission from occurrences of jitter and ripple. A tin-bearing copper alloy is used for the cable's shield while the insulation is made of a fluoropolymer material with superior heat resistance, weather resistance, and anti-aging properties. The connector features a rounded plug lever to prevent bending or breaking and direction marks to indicate correct direction for connecting cable. "

I rub my cables across my face every morning, and my skin has become softer and smoother, with wrinkles, lines, and spots fading away.

:lol

That's a load of crap that has been sold to audioholics for years that you had to use expensive cables to get the best sound quality. Here's it's even worth as it's a digital signal travelling through these cables (e.g. with error detection/correction algorithms).

Coat hangers can do as well as 100$ cables: http://consumerist.com/362926/do-coat-hangers-sound-as-good-monster-cables
