If he's such a gifted rhetorical speaker, why has he not instantly taken on McCains offer to have ten townhall debate meetings.
If McCain is old and senile, this should be a cakewalk.
C'mon Obamatwats? What's the deal?
The great Inhilibirator inhaletor, Calibrater, Masturbaitor, Barrack OBAMA!!!

McCain has had a much longer time to pile up questions to debate Obama with while he was still fighting back and forth with Hillary. Obama is still trying to strategize against McCain. McCain has been fresh and ready for months just waiting. Give the guy some time to rest at least.

HUSSEIN is 6 points ahead in national polls of Old Sick Senile 95% McFlopPanderKeating now, while dubya, "war president", was never more the 4 pts ahead of Kerry at any point in 2004.
The WH is HUSSEIN's to lose. Without any debates, HUSSEIN is in the WH. It's 95% McFlop who is underwater and trying to break thru.
McFlop wants 10, just for the asking? fuck you, you get 5 max, and will regret them. How does such a bad, bland, lifeless speaker as Old McFlop think he can hold a candle to HUSSEIN?
HUSSEIN and his people don't need to make up the weeks to prepare to debate Old McFlop. HUSSEIN is so superior in charisma, intelligence, knowledge, mastery of the issues and facts, quality of voice, and overall presentation than he will totally destroy Old McFlop in any free format debate.
None of this fake bullshit where they talk to a moderator. mano a mano, tete a tete, Lincoln-Douglas, good old college-style debating on the issues and positions. Old McFlop will without any doubt play childish gotcha shit and silly ridiculing jokes and soundbites against HUSSEIN, and Senile McFlop does everyday, make shit up as he goes along.

You know Obama would get massacred if the Repugs had a candidate worth a damn.
I mean shit! Obama up there trying to discuss the economy without a teleprompter. Wow! Talk about giving Bush a run for his money in trying to form a complete sentence in under 3 minutes!

The candidate behind in the polls challenges, the candidate ahead demurs.

That's pretty bad considering senator McCain has far less support from the republican base than president Bush did. If Obama was worth a shit, he should be far ahead.

Candidate A has a large fund raising advantage. Campaign B asks for as many debates as possible for free air time. Candidate A denies request. Campaign B then says bad things about Candidate A.
Its like you've never seen an election before.

too funny.
Since bush was ahead, he never held debates. Wow, I guess obama gets a free pass.

There will be debates in time. I don't see why McCain should be entitled to his first demand.

Of course there will be debates, but he's not going to give McCain free weekly airtime when he has such a large lead in fund raising. Why are you acting like this is some kind of a surprise?

IIRC, Obama's offered to debate McCain. He doesn't want a townhall and I don't blame him. People are fucking morons. Bring in Jim Lehrer to ask professional questions instead of a bunch of moronic and slobby citizens from Oklahoma City or someplace and I think Obama would be open to the idea.

Well, this isn't necessarily the reason, but he was the sitting president. He probably really had better things to do. In the case of Obama and McCain, they have the time to debate.

So, it doesn't make you right. Kerry was leading Bush at this point in time. And look what happen to the wounded VN veteran. :lol

So, it doesn't make you right.Sure it does. It is a completely legitimate debate tactic.
Ask around.

golfing? cycling? We fucking well know he wasn't immersed in the details of running the Exec, or even aware what the Exec was doing, as Asshole In The Bubble.

So, hypothetically speaking, if Obama were to win and a war broke out and he wasn't ready for it, do you think we could ask for a timeout for him to get his shit together for that?
Weak defense.
