What east-coast based team announces the firing of a manager at 3:15 a.m.? Really? Man up and call a press conference after sunrise.

Oh well, at least Willie Randolph can get on with his life now.

What a joke. they make him and the rest of his coaches travel out to the west coast, then fire the guy while he is sleeping. talk about low-class organization. Mets hadnt won 3of 4, i guess they didnt want the mets to get to hot, then they would be able to fire him.

The Yankees' Wang was injured, the Mets released their Willie in the middle of the night...

That city couldn't be any more phallic if they had the Empire State Bui... aw, crap.

You make the guy travel to the west coast, coach last night, then just fire him?
