He says he will see what NBA teams make offers before deciding on his future. I assume returning to Spain is a possibility. Pre-injury, I would've definitely wanted him. Is he a possible option-- at least as a Plan B, C, or D?

LLE at most.

No one will sign him until after the Olympics. That's why he asked out of his contract. He'll have to accept table scraps at that point, since almost all teams want to spend what they have to spend and set their rosters in July and early August.

Aw, he was a good utility guy that first season.

I agree. He did some good work his rookie year.

I've never thought much of Garbo. He is a low percentage shooting power forward who doesn't rebound or block shots. And then on top of that, he had that gruesome injury where he foot almost disconnected from his leg.

He can shoot pretty well for a man his size and he has above average basketball IQ but I don't see how that makes up for everything else. To put it into context, he basically replaced Matt Bonner in Toronto's system ... and put up much worse stats than Bonner.

If you don't like him as a player, that's fine - but do you really have to slander the man?

Good player - for FIBA basketball. Decent enough for the Raptors, would stuggle in most NBA teams.

Probably will return to Spain. He was the Finals MVP over there when his team (Unicaja) won the Spanish League.
