Couldn't have happened to a more appropriate team. This thing's over at half time.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAHHAHHAA

What a joke. Way to represent the West. Its going to be up to the Spurs to go get it back....AGAIN.

First From the Bulls, then from the Pistons, then from the Heat.

I'm pretty sure no other team in the West is allowed to laugh at the Lakers, since they're the last ones standing.

And I hate to put it this bluntly, but the C's have beaten the Lakers three times while the Spurs did so only once.

The company men did everything they could to keep LA LA in the game and the Slackers still couldn't take advantage. There game has been exposed as pathetic.

All that's left is for KG to go to the locker room in the 3rd with a serious looking injury to his thumbnail, only to return triumphantly at the start of the 4th.

Hey Johnny_Blaze, don't bother with me...I'm one of the "Had Manu been healthy guys and The Hornets were tougher" guys in these forums.

As for the Lakers, maybe if Bynum and his legendary 13 pts and 10 rebs per game wasn't injured, he'd be the difference maker......NOT. Am I the only one who thinks that guy's hype is over stated ? I get it, he was having a good year but lets not anoint him a difference maker just yet.

Then why did we laugh at the Mavericks in 06?

I don't know which is more funny the Lakers effort or the announcers dissin the Laker fans for being non-existent during the games in LA. It's one thing to have your team slammed but to get slammed as fan takes you right to the heart or lack there of.

Good Lord. I just looked up Stacy Keibler.

Nah, that image was downloaded from a strangely laid out Euro site. If it was anyone of notoriety, her name would have been listed. It's just some random, beautiful ass in sweet lingerie that makes the world a better place.

I thought the Mavs were going to be a tough opponent for us for years to come. I felt that Mavs team fought and earned that series from us. --> 2 road wins and a game 7 win on our floor ? Refs, Shmefs, they wanted it more than us.

The Celtics not missing a shot is pretty damn hilarious, followed closely by anytime a Laker shoots the ball.

I don't know how far the Spurs could have gone if they had been healthy through the playoffs. But they sure as hell wouldn't have won this game in Boston.

My personal goal for the evening is to see Kobe and Fisher crying again. I wouldn't mind seeing Vujacic baby-up either, after that fit he threw on the bench the other night.

Lakers trying to get another finals record. First the biggest choke in a single finals game and now the biggest blow out in a finals game. Way to set them records.

How funny, I started re-watching the original BBC "The Office" with Ricky Gervais. That was hands down the funniest series I have seen in years. That being said, this FINAL game is cracking me up too.

Don't like the Lakers, but I hate the C's more, one good season and they're a dynasty, ran by 3 old washed up career losers, who got all the lucky bounces their way. KG is a bitch btw.

Scene in a local pub:

Girl1: Well I hope you don't plan on taking her home tonight !"
Finch: "Him ? He couldn't pull in a Brothel"
Brent: "I could and I have and I will take her home tonight if I want"
Girl2: "I dont want to go home with you."
Brent: 'She doesn't want to go home with me"...."Well there's a waist of an hour."
Girl2: "So the only reason you've been talking to me was so that you could shag
me ?"
Brent: "Yeah, and from behind because your breath stinks like onion."
BRENT gets slapped.
Finch: "Hey, one in the bum, no harm done."
Brent "No, not like that......."

Friggin awesome writing. Nothing like the NBC show.

Quote from Lakersground.net:

"If we can just cut the lead down to 20".

At least they have a sense of humor about it.

To those of you thinking that we need to make wholesale changes, most Lakers fans want to get rid of Odom AND Gasol. You think we have problems ? Those guys aren't going to get any better. That team would do good to trade Gasol, Radmanovich and Odom. Then they might have something.

We need to get some support players in and we'll be right back in the Finals. We know how to WIN. It just wasn't our year this year.

LMAO @ Kobe and crew getting pretty much handled all series and then blown out in an elimination game six. That's good stuff.

As a Laker hater, it's tremendously gratifying to see Shaq and Kobe both getting denied again this year. Eliminating Shaq personally this year was a nice touch. Is this two NBA Finals beat downs for Kobe so far? The Eastern conference owns you, Lakers.

Beautiful post! The Spurs might not have won back to back finals, but at least we haven't lost any. Maybe the next time Phildo gets to the Finals, they can go for a three-peat.
