I wanted them both to lose. But I wanted the Lakers to lose more.

Lakers to be destroyed, serves them right after that classless Sasha 3 at the of the Spurs series...they got karma back 10 fold and I loved every second of it...

alls right with the world i guess....

1. Lakers proved they were no opponent for the Celtics.
2. Lakers raise questions now about if they really did beat a healthy spurs team fairly
3. Kobe proves he cant win without Shaq
4. Garnett will never be Duncan
5. Phil Jackson will never pass Red
6. True loyal basketball fans get to celebrate
7. The West rep sucks thats not the Spurs!

Before the series started I didn't want either one of them to win, but by the 3rd game I was rooting for the Celtics. I grew to like them. Doc Rivers is a class act. Can't say the same about KG but you have to take the bad with the good.

Paul Pierce so deserved to finally win a championship. OMG. Such a loyal teammate, and he's worked his ass over over the years. I have been saying for 5 years that he is a very underrated defender, and he finally got the world's attention with his defense in this series.

Also, how good is Rondo? Wow. And only 22. Does everyone know that the T-wolves wanted him thrown in to the KG-Al Jefferson deal, but the C's wouldn't let him go? Someone in the Boston front office knew how special he was.
