It's an AP story, I can only link it.

Billups pulls out of Olympic mix

As you may or may not have heard, the Associated Press (AP) is in a battle with bloggers/websites that re-post (or portions of) their articles. They are filing lawsuits and take down notices to websites who are doing it.

So, if you see an AP story and want to post it in the forum, just link to it.

With the play of Chris Paul and Deron Williams this past season, Billups should not have made the team anyway. Heck, Kidd shouldn't be on the team but we all know he will be.

I have no problems having CP3 and DWill on the team.

Kidd needs to go. He's washed up and over the hill. Should not be on Team USA. CP3 and Deron Williams belong more than he does.

Also would rather see Brandon Roy on the team instead of Kidd.

I wouldn't count Kidd out as a player. His game was never predicated on athleticism. The things that he excels at - court vision, passing and ball handling - will not deteriorate with age as quickly.

Jason Kidd's game was based on his quickness and ability to push the ball up the floor so fast a great deal. That's part of athleticism. Now, he can't even come close to defend quicker guards, and he can't get by defenders nearly as well, which allows help defenders to not have to collapse on him so hard to leave open scorers. Court vision and passing are part of Kidd's game, but a lot of his game was dependent on quickness and athleticism.

Kidd says he's already been contacted by Jerry Colangelo and he's on the team.

Good move bud. No need to risk injury on a pointless tourny.

He played fantastic for the national team. When there is so much talent sometimes all you need is that type of player. Aside from that the man is a triple double threat every night no matter what team he plays on. (J.Kidd)

I wonder how many dunks will amare get with cp3 being his PG, they are just made for each other.
I see a 20+ point differential for the USA just for this lineup!
