Odom is a poor man's Garnett, but like him, he shrinks from pressure. He's a loser, although talented. He's the kind of player you only get to eat regular season minutes so that your pressure guys are fresher for the playoffs. If he were making anywhere between maybe $7-9M, he'd be fairly compensated and worth maybe pursuing, but you don't need to be going after cap killing contracts like his $13M for players who don't produce under pressure, EVER.

he play the hardest from all the lakers in the finals, still i think the lakers will try to trade him for a SF that more pure and can shot
and even if we want him we dont have something to give for him

I know one team's trash is sometimes another team's treasure, but we don't need talented trash.

I'd want him on the Spurs. The Spurs are chockful of clutch performers already - Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and Finley/Horry. Biggest problem I saw was giving up leads due to prolonged droughts. Odom probably couldn't fix that, but he brings a lot to the table with shooting, rebounding, passing and defending. Plus, he can play a lot of positions. Isn't he the long 3 that the Spurs have been looking for - kind of like Tayshaun Prince? It was very useful having matchup nightmares with Turkoglu. He could end up being like Horry, minus the clutch factor but with more mobility. He's only 28 and entering a basketball player's prime.
Bonner for Odom and cash? Why not?

Odom is set to make 14+ Mil, vastly over paid. Furthermore, he's to expensive for us plus he's a bit soft. The Lakers wouldn't want to make us better or younger in any way.

Odom is a good player but the Spews would have to give up either Parker or Mangoo to get him just to match cash so no.
Parker + Bonner for Odom and Faramar.
Lakers need a reliable second scorer and a PG
so give them Parker. We get odom for verstatile 3. Perfect everybody is happy.
