It was a poor attempt at an American Psycho type of movie, rich people with nothing better to do than kill. About the only good part of the movie is when Naomi Watts shoots the kid with the shotgun and then his friend finds the remote and rewinds the movie. I lolled a bit there.

All she had to do was say she didn't have any eggs! Catastrophe averted! They wouldn't have been killed and we wouldn't have had to watch a shitty movie.

It's a shame Tim Roth's good name is attached to it.

I hear that the remake is almost a shot for shot redo of the original. With the same director. It's weird how the original is pretty well received by critics but this new new one is pretty thoroughly hated.
