-Kurz has worked out for five NBA teams -- Chicago, Houston, Indiana, Sacramento and San Antonio -- with three more to go heading into next week's draft.

I'm a Notre Dame fan and can assure you that Kurz is NOT a long 3. He played what amounts to the Center position for the Irish. He does have some decent outside shooting ability (poor man's Matt Bonner) when his feet are set and he's left alone, but he doesn't have anywhere near the requisite quickness to defend even the most unathletic of NBA small forwards, never mind the fact that he has no face-the-basket ball-handling ability. He's basically an undersized power forward, and he is not a legitimate NBA prospect.

Spurs must be vetting likely undrafted free agents for the Toros.

My grandfather-in-law is a big ND fan and so I've watched several of their games so he and I could share in the joy that is Notre Dame basketball, and this is a very fair assessment.
Bonner-lite.
