Report: Iverson's agent says Allen Iverson is staying with the Nuggets.
Iverson's agent confirmed Friday to the Denver Post that the All-Star will not opt out of his current deal and will return to the team. Iverson will make $20.84 million in '08-'09, the final year of his deal.
"He's looking forward to helping the team take the next step," agent Leon Rose told the Post.
Iverson, 33, averaged 26.4 points, 7.1 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game during the '07-'08 season, but the superstar pairing with Carmelo Anthony wasn't successful in the playoffs, as Denver was swept in the first round by the Los Angeles Lakers.
