Maybe thats why they call it a "mock" draft? You expect every sports writer/expert is going to agree on every single of the 60 picks?

Yes, I understand.....but, damn....they arent even on the same page it seems like. Alot of the other teams were chosen to select the same type of player at least. Not going from a PG to SG to Center......all over the friggen map. :wakeup

I wasn't aware all mock drafts should be the same and accurate before the start of the draft. Learn something new everyday . . .

Well the Spurs have 3 needs that can be addressed in the draft (backup point, swingman, and big), hence the many different combinations the Spurs can end up with.
Then again, mocks mean jacksquat most of the time.
Better to read the mocks not to see who the Spurs will pick, but what players will be in that range.

One of the main reasons for extreme variation in mocks is that few fans or sportswriters are willing to speak the simple truth by saying "I have no connections whatsoever with the front office, no inside information at all, and I'm basing my pick on a consolidation of 18 rumors, at least 14 of which are most likely not true."
It's still fun to look at them all, though, isn't it?
Though I'm looking forward to a few relaxing days where I don't have to hear the word "upside."
