Took my boy out for a drive yesterday since I had the day off. He's 2.5 years old and uses a booster seat not a full car seat. Its only a two seater car so he's in the front seat. Hit the gas station to pay for some overpriced scarce rare commodity fuel.

Lady at pump next to me: OMG ::gasp::

Me: HUH What? ::bewildered::

Annoying Bitch: you can't have a baby upfront like that.

Me: He's not a baby he walks, talks and shits in a toilet and I'm pretty sure he's allowed to sit there so long as he's in a properly fitted safety seat which he is.

Whiny Bitch: He's only allowed to sit in the back seat and since you don't have one he can't be in the vehicle.

Me: :rolleyes feel free to give Officer Fuck Off and Deputy I don't give a fuck a call and see what they say.

Neverending Bitch: I don't have to put up with your attitude I'm calling the police right now. I'm taking down your license plate numbers so you better not leave.

Me: Fuck you

My Boy: Who's that lady dad

Me: ::loudly:: some fat bitch with no life and a bone to pick because no man will give her kids. Tell jealously good bye now.

Boy: bye fat jelly see.

Me: :flipoff

Is this bitch right or not? At first I thought no way because of all the mexxicans around with single cab trucks and we all know 99% of them have kids but I'm truely unsure as to exactly what the law says. Anyone?

Not sure about the legality and all that, but it is a good idea to put the kiddo in the back seat, especially if you have a passenger side air bag. Even kids up to early teens shouldn't be in the front if you have passenger air bags. They are even dangerous for short adults.

Although there is no law that prevents youngsters from sitting in the front seat of a vehicle, the safest place for a child in a car is in a rear seat, properly buckled into a child safety seat or a booster seat.

Air bags don't replace child safety seats and may increase the risk of serious injury to children. Children younger than 13 should never ride in the front seats of vehicles with active passenger air bags.

For more information on proper child seat installation and use, please see the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/CPS/safetycheck/TypeSeats/.

Is he in a rear facing child seat? Its not a baby seat its a booster seat that works with the cars existing seat belt. It does not have its own straps so you can't turn it backwards. See this

http://www.target.com/Graco-Turbobooster-Booster-Seat-Black/dp/B000E0P290/sr=1-6/qid=1214504877/ref=sr_1_6/602-9483081-3099846?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3Abooster%20seat&page=1

IF there is no airbag then its all moot.

Its one thing to politely inform someone of something if 1) you're right and 2) you're not being a dick about it when there's a saftey issue. But to make a big ass scene when you're wrong and obviously just a self righteous ho then you deserve to have a football shoved up your ass.

Little ASF is 9 going on 10 and I only let her ride upfront in the truck if we're going short distances...and I turn the air bag OFF.

The lady is right.

The todler is too small to be in the front seat. My son did not ride in the front seat til he was tall enough to be safe if the airbag deployed. A short child can and has been killed in a 20mph crash when the airbag deployed and broke the child's neck. If you love your kid, do not put him in the front seat til he is about 10. Talk to your pediatrician about this.

It depends on whether you have a passenger side airbag.

Passenger side airbags have been known to snap necks if the person in the passenger seat isn't tall enough.

That is why they have off switches on them in newer cars.

Here Here brotha:whine

I should just start carrying a couple of eggs each day in the car just in case.
Naw, ketchup:lol

Half empty coke cans work best. Make sure to spin it as it leaves the window this way it'll spray everywhere. If you're lucky their window will be open for the lap splatter.

Seriously though. I've stopped doing that. I'm getting too old to fight with people in public. Had this been 4 or 5 years ago I would have layed into that lady right or wrong and probably hung around for the cops just on the off chance that I was right so I could be an even bigger dick. I haven't totally learned to shut my mouth but I left pretty quickly and avoided a major scene with a grade A fat douche.

Poor lady, was prolly comming off a bender, and couldn't find her Xanax. But you Mr. Life Coach fixed her little red wagon:lmao

THERE IS NO FUCKING AIRBAG AT ALL. THE VEHICLE ISN'T EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS.

....is the car a model T?

So your sayin' theres no airbags?
:lol :lol

The lady is right.
The todler is too small to be in the front seat. My son did not ride in the front seat til he was tall enough to be safe if the airbag deployed. A short child can and has been killed in a 20mph crash when the airbag deployed and broke the child's neck. If you love your kid, do not put him in the front seat til he is about 10. Talk to your pediatrician about this.

B2B was this the person you were talking with at the gas station? ^

i think your right, the fatty should mind her own business. :flipoff her

Me: HUH What? ::bewildered::

Anyone?

lmfao good for you.

I didn't find the story all that funny. A child's safety is no laughing matter. I would have just said thank you for your concern and went on with my day.

No one ever said child safety was a laughing matter it was all about her being a total snooty bitch. Its not like I locked the kid in the car with windows up. I'd expect someone to jump in and say or do something if that were the case.

Anyway I did thank her for her concern in my own special way.
