I love moscato d'asti. Have you tried bracchetto? Valdobiaddene and Cartizze Proseccos beat the crap out of some champagnes at 25%-50% the cost. My new white wine faves are A Coroa Godello (Valdeorras) and Cantine Tollo Pecorino IGT)
