I never was one to live in the past. I mean claiming the AE had better talent is kind of hard when the AE was all, DX, Austin, and Rock. I kinda like the current era, matches can last more than 30 seconds now.
Well that falls more on creative than wrestlers. No one will reach the levels of Austin or the Rock for 10 years at the most. And putting pressure on guys to be as over isn't helping. I mean the geniuses of the creative team took John Morrison and made him a face with out meaningful feud, or retention of his previous character. The problem is just cause its PG doesn't mean you gotta be disney level PG. You can push the envelope a little. Thing about the AE I will give is they had consistency. Being PG is really the worst idea for a wrestling promotion. You got guys who should just be playing a different kind of character but aren't permitted to.
