Austin has an emerging PE sector, music and film, and a growing corporate pipeline (Oracle, Tesla) on top of one of the most robust technology pipelines in the country. If you think young, rich black men who want to be more than just a basketball player (see, Lebron and film or Westbook and...

Good points, but I think you're ignoring the direction of demographic changes in the I35 corridor. San Antonio is moving up and Austin is moving down. I grew up north of 1604 when it was an exurb. It's nothing of the sort now. So I wasn't suggesting a move directly into Austin or even further north...

The reality is that the team needs to both move away from SA and also not leave the SA market. SA is 32nd in the list of largest US cities by GDP and Austin is 26th. The range of cities by GDP between 26 and 32 includes Cleveland, Orlando, and Sacramento. If you were to combine the two together as...

  1. Definitely not , the only reason I was able to do an MSJ myself was because the other sides lawyer was a bumbling idiot. The claims he filed are claims that don’t even exist (aiding and abetting tortious interference, fraudulent transfer when I wasn’t the transferor or transferee of any assets, etc.). The one claim that might have actually been hard to dismiss with an MSJ was tortious interference but his pleading made an unintentional judicial admission that barred it
  2. Sup n!gger I haven't been paying much attention to it, have the changes to the TCPA completely shut down all of the motions to dismiss that were getting filed?
  3. The only reason I know about it is because I got sued and, while it was a completely stupid and frivolous lawsuit, it had nothing to do with free speech or freedom to associate, but my attorney was still able to use the TCPA to get it dismissed and the judge even awarded me sanctions beyond my attorney's fees
  4. Sup Scrah - read the changes to the TCPA you told me about. Most of it seems like a pretty common sense cleanup of how it was fucked up, i.e., making it so attorneys could no longer file a TCPA motion to dismiss the opposing party's TCPA motion to dismiss
