A mid-season trade bait that no team will want. Derozan has next to zero trade value.

I still can't believe we still have a bunch of Kawhi bootlickers in here believing trading for PG would have been a game changer. I still don't believe Spurs would have squeezed out a title with Kawhi-PG. Kawhi would have still left anyways when his contract was up.

Pop destroyed LMA's value during from '15-'17. His scoring dropped tremendously so teams thought he was on the decline and didn't view him as a high value star. Pop had to rebuild his value by giving him move touches after '17. The best time to actually trade LMA was summer of '18 when he was...

He should excel in the role he's taking with the Nets. He can now go back to the role he used to have when the Spurs were title contenders instead of being overused.

Look at a guy like Joe Johnson that always took max contracts on bad teams. I have seen a recent interview where Joe has said that he has no regrets for taking all the money and never being on a title contender. These guys like anybody usually care about the money first over anything. ...

:lol I would even approve of that trade now. My expectations are so low that I just want Demar gone. If he's gone then this offseason was a success since with these CREAM guys the Spurs are going to get a high lottery pick.

He was a good signing .If Kawhi didn't go AWOL there is a huge chance he would have gotten a ring with the Spurs. I hope for the best for him in his quest to get a ring.

It's going to be hard to unload him like Michael Finley considering if he resigns than the Spurs are paying him over 10 mil plus per year and most likely 20 mil per yer. They can't cut him like Finley. Also teams don't value him enough to trade first round picks for him. The last few years should...

No not so much. It's getting paid less than what he believes he deserves is what will impinge his ego.

Most people are greedy regardless of their income bracket. Very few people are going to take a lot less money than their use to making.

The free agent market should show everybody how low Demar's value is. It also should give an idea how the Spurs could never really trade him other than for players with bad contracts. No team really wants Demar. It became apparent to me when even the lowly Knicks passed on him.

He wants to get paid and ring. Most importantly he wants to get paid first. No team out there can offer him good money and a ring. It really comes down to the money for Demar.

He's not gong to play for cheap on a title contender. The minimum I could see him taking is 10 mil a year. There is no title contender out there that has that money when you look at the landscape.

I'm calling my shot by stating that Demar will be back on a 3-4 year deal. I hope I'm wrong but what do Spur fans think?

There is nothing to admire about it considering the Timberwolves used to be like that too when they had Kahn as their GM. Being reckless and stupid with no vision is not the way to go which is what the Spurs are right now.

Spurs can still come out on top in this off-season if they let Derozan walk. If they keep Derozan than this offseason was a failure and the next 3 years will be filled with consistent failure in being a treadmill team.

I have heard Kawhi wanted the Spurs to trade Lamarcus for PG and they refused to do so. Either way Kawhi was going to leave once his contract was up. There's really nothing to get out of this.

I"m not a fan of this signing. It's a terrible signing with that being said my younger brother loves the Blazers and follows them a lot. He told me Zac is a 7 foot poor man's version of David Lee and that if he can stay healthy he would be a 12-7 player.

  1. This is true. It's definitely college basketball country, and I don't really have a favorite. It's always been the NBA (and Spurs) for me.
  2. I actually just moved to Raleigh, but I've always lived on the East Coast (never in Texas). I've also followed the Spurs since D-Rob was there. I managed to get my wife hooked on the Spurs as well, so there's at least a couple of us Spurs fans here, LOL.
