I think the guy was attempting to be comical. Or maybe he meant he hopes Mahinmi doesn't become like Amare in attitude.

I really hope hill doesnt turn out to be another chris paul :nope
:lol
I'm just curious if anyone knows how fluent Ian is in English. I'm wondering if Pop or the staff will ever have trouble communicating (I know Parker could translate, but it would be nice if they didn't need him all the time).
There´s a stupid thing in the NBA
6-9 is Undersized, 6-10 is Nice, 6-11 is Good and 7´is amazing
Then, Tim Duncan is the Best PF of the History with 6-11, but he would be 2 inches lowest, apparently he was unable to play as a Center
That´s Bull shit
Rasho Nesterovich is a 7 footer, and he´s not a key player, Amare is 6-9 and Big Ben is Like 6-8, and both can play Center too better than Rasho
Charles Brkley is 6-5 and he´s one of the Best All Time PF,a nd what About Larry "Grand Ma-Ma"
i am french too and lol
French people speak english almost as well as Kill Bill Pana
oh i can see ian as a foul magnet already....but if his play like Blocking shots, Rebounding, Quick to the rotation, then with the rest of our bigs we will be fine. and come seasons end, PO ready(duncan will finally get his help)......if he chokes then what different does any of his height and span equal.....nada
One could guess that spending one year in the US has allow him to be confortable with Shakespeare's language.
This guy is going to be good, trust me....or we sucks balls in future
I think Ian looks like Amare in physical built...Ian also have very good vertical, muscles size and athleticism....i wish he works with Cuip for his shooting and FT, as well as ability to hink like a guard: that will make him smarter in terms of positioning and finding open spaces. Other option is he become a dunker inside ring which going to be a cool thing to watch. He also need to work on defense and watch out for fouls (he can learn this from our main guy Duncan)
OK, are we talking pre-injury Amare or post-injury Amare, because pre-injury Amare was out of this world. I don't think Ian could match that on his best day. He does have hops and a wingspan, but he needs to bulk up more. Amare is just a FREAK.
Post injury Amare, since he shoots alot more. I think thats what Ian needs to work on. I like his stats in D League. I saw some of his games, and he got no problem dunking, blocking, rebounding and tipping the ball to the hoops. Boy got potential and his muscles are bigger than two years ago.
When he found his middle range shooting and FT...thats when he gets real scarry. Because we got Duncan on the post, so more likely Duncan will be alone if Ian keep hitting his middle range. KT can just sucks balls (last year he got paid more than $8 mill for his performance. Not bad performance but not fucking enough for that price. Remember CM get paid $7 mill last time). He also need to play to be a garbage man, because Duncan is settled on with hooks n bank shots rather than forcing his way to the rim and dunk (He's not dunking as much as before).
He's really young, same age as Bynum... He's a D League All Star averaging 17,7 points last season... He's former volley ball so he got vertical (have u guys seen his block? Thats sick).
Its time for him to learn to stay away from foul and play smart. He's lucky he got Duncan and Chip to help his shoots
I have honestly hoped to anything good in this world than Ian can develop his instinctive approach to defense. He is too methodical, or you could say makes too many stupid mistakes that seem to be habits. He is young enough to change them however.
What worries me is he was in foul trouble a lot even in the D League. And they way they call shit now days I just don't know how he is going to turn out. It's a true roll of the dice with Ian this season. Make or break time.
