Software to extract editable text from a JPEG image of text?
I downloaded a book, but dude who made the archive just took photos of each page. :lol
Anyone know a good way to recognize the characters so that I can just write them in a .tex file (to then compile into postscript or pdf)?
Here's a sample of an image I want to extract text from:

Acrobat Pro couldn't handle it, so I ended up using OmniPage Pro to extract the text from the book.

Thanks for the update I hate when asshats ask for help and never get back to you on what they ended up doing.
