I played the demo its pretty badass but i can see how it will get old real fast with no multiplayer (unless you have a Wii)
I'm a 32 year old kid. :)
Been playing games since I was 5 on a TI and probably will keep going until arthritis kicks in.
I was pretty psyched for this until I played the demo. It seemed more cartoony arcade-style than I would have thought and I had a couple frame-rate glitches that may just be problems local to the demo. My other complaint seems to be a common one that all the reviews touch on; the targeting system sucks ass. I was going to buy it and maybe I still will once the price drops, but what I've seen so far seems underwhelming based on the hype and high hopes I had.
I've had zero problems with the targeting system. In the heat of battle in a hallway I can still single out someone and pick them up and toss them where I want.
i'm already seeing these turning up for sale as used.
Didn't like the demo, I did go to it's midnight release with my friend. He ask me to go and I was like WTF they are doing a midnight release for this game. I did not buy a copy, I'll just borrow his when he is done.
Midnight release? Eh…it’s a fun game…I am a big fan of the series and Star Wars but a midnight release is way overboard.
Fallout 10/28. That will be the best SP game ever. Bethesda fucking made it!
every game seems kinda bleh with Gears 2 coming out soon.
For the Wii, I say rent, don't buy. I finished the game in about two days without spending incredible amounts of time on it. The combat mode might be fun but there's no multiplayer and no AI so if you don't have someone else around to play then it's not that interesting. My five year old isn't much of a challenge.
I have it on the Wii and its pretty fun although one of the bossess was frustrating because you had to basically play "simon" with the remote to beat him. I fought the damn guy for about two hours before i figured out what the hell the game wanted me to do. I like he story
it was fun but it was short good thing i rented it
So should I buy it or rent it?
Yeah, I don't like that either. It's common in Wii games, and has some roots in Nintendo going back to having to learn patterns in order to win, which is why I hate games like Metroid Prime. If I wanted to mimic what the little symbols on the screen are doing, I'd go buy Guitar Hero.
