Every once in a while I get a torrent that seems to be downloading really fast, but it will validate much more slowly. As an example, I have a 771 MB file downloading right now... I have downloaded 6.3 GB of data for this file and only 503 MB have been validated. What's the deal with that?
I'm using Bits on Wheels, if that means anything.
Validated? I don't know what that is. I used Azureus and never notice anything like that. I know it will download and when it's done DLing it will say "checking file" and show the % but it does it pretty fast.
What are you downloading that you have over 6 gb so far?
if i remember at all correctly, you have a mac, right?
