I heard Nader in Bill Maher's show.
How the fuck can anyone vote for that idiot?

Re: Presidential Voting History
Reagan ( just a little too young but would've if I could've)
Reagan
Bush
No vote (didn't care much either way)
Clinton
Bush
Bush (more a vote against Kerry, thought I would be voting for Hillary to punish repubs but she didn't run)
McCain (more a vote against Obama, thought I would be voting for Hillary to punish repubs)
Why do people vote 3rd party? Might as well save time and stay home IMO.

2000: didn't vote
2004: didn't vote
W versus Gore was a tossup to me. If you put a gun to my head I probably would have gone with W. Gore's douche qualities were too high. And really, after 9/11, I think Bush was much better at rallying the common man than Gore would have been. Considering that was the most important time period of the last eight years by far, I'm glad it was dumbass W and not pompous douche Gore.
In 2004, Kerry was a joke of a candidate. I'd say he will go down as one of the top five worst presidential candidates in American history. W was obviously heading down the tubes but even a bad W is better than whatever Kerry would have brought to the table.
That said, if the Democrats would have nominated someone on the level of Clinton or Obama, I would have easily voted against W. Even looking back with 20-20 hindsight, I can't say for sure that Gore or Kerry would have us in a better position. W handled 9/11 in the weeks and months following it pretty damn well and whatever he's done has prevented a further attack. Would Gore or Kerry have done the same? Who knows.
But props to the Democrats for finally putting a good candidate on the ballot. Now the Republicans need to gather themselves and go back to their base principles and find a quality candidate in '12 or '16.

I live in California...I can't pretend my votes have a profound effect on any Presidential election.
I didn't vote in 2000 because I was completely disengaged with politics at the time. My convenient "they're all the same, anyway" cynicism vanished shortly after W. took office

Track record? You think voting is like picking a 3 game teaser at the sports book in a Vegas Casino?

It's much easier than that....I think the odds of being eligible to vote in 3 Presidential Elections and never once voting for the winner are pretty low.
You and Michael Moore are the only 2 I know of...

Michael Moore voted for Bob Dole in '96?
Re: Presidential Voting History
and again...what the hell does "picking the winners" have to do with anything? Is there a prize for "picking the winner"?

That's a pretty shitty reason to vote for or against somebody, but then again, there's many other shitty reasons to vote...

Don't answer the question because you don't have a plausible answer. Got it.
Still waiting for whottt to provide some logic...
