Lets get this party started.

Obama's goals

-appear presidential. No matter what if Barack can do this he comes out of tonight great.
-connect with the middle class. They're hurting, talk to them and appear as one of them not an elitist.
-PISS OFF JOHN MCCAIN!!!! If you can make him look mad or uncomfortable you score huge points. People want a strong leader right now, not an emotional wreck.

McCain's goals:

-Above all, maintain your cool. It doesn't matter if Barak says your mother is dumber than Sarah Palin, if you lose your cool in this debate you will not win the election
-Make Barak seem like he's "one of them". I don't know what "them" is, but its not the middle class american, thats for damn sure. Make him seem alien to the middle class and you'll score some points.
-have the event of your life. Without a strong strong strong win tonight, McCain is likely dead in the water. He's running out of game changers and the Economy will simply continue to dominate the news. He needs this bad.

McCain says fuck you but doesn't look at Obama while saying it

Pundits say no one wins

Polls and Focus groups say McCain pulling Obama's foot out of his ass
