It is clear that we as people are doomed to be oppressed by a massive government until the next revolution. I always end up about there. Diametrically opposed to Bush/Cheney, and closest to the Dalai Lama, if not exactly on his dot. I have taken teh test a few times over the last few years and the results have been pretty consistent.
The Democrats are closer on the graph to me than Republicans, and I have noted, closer in belief to a lot of people here who seem to identify more with Republicans than Democrats in their statements.
Interesting test that you may or may not have taken from the political compass website, with some rather shocking things said by people you would not expect.
