I hate Gears multiplayer matches, I'm opposite of you. I play the single player game and horde online but as for VS. online I hate it. I can't get into it on this game, I try but since I love to run and gun and this is a take cover and fire game I always get my ass handed to me.Quote:

Horde is the only mode I play in MP. Four of my friends, it's pretty ill.
I'll also start a co-op campaign with my friend.
Describe the horde mode, i wasnt a big fan of gears 1 even the multiplayer i thought it was cool at first but not a lot of replayability it just got old really quick. Im debating on if I should get this game its doubtful I will play it much now with the cast, I can't use my left thumb.
horde is just kill a bunch of locust and then you start over

If you don't have a party of 5 friends, just how hard is it to get into a horde game? And how long do they generally last before you get got?
I wasn't going to get gow 2, but I've just read review after review and post after post talking up horde as the best thing ever.
You have the option to be randomly assigned to a group of 5 for Horde on XBL. When I tried it, t took a while for me to find players, I'm not really sure why.
I played with 2 or 3 of my friends and we got stuck on wave 8 of Horde on 3 different maps on Hardcore mode :lol. On one map we got to wave 14, and I think there's 50 waves total. Anyways, you need A LOT of teamwork if you're gonna get far in Horde.
The first time I tried it with one friend and we couldn't even get pass wave 10, Next night it was both of us plus his brother and brother gf and another friend of his. We got to 36 before we all died, but you can continue from the Lv you died on to get the horde 50 achievement.
