Anyone have a 360 HD-DVD player?
I knew I should have bought one when they dropped to $20 but I never did...
Blockbuster.com is selling pretty much everything ever put out on HD-DVD for $8 each... I'd be more than willing to drop $100 or so to have some awesome movies at that quality just to hold on to in a collection and watch every now and then. I can't find any players online for less than $50 though.

I'll sell you a new one for $40. Are you local? I also have a couple of movies if you'd like those, too. We can make a package deal for the flicks and player if you want.

A week before shit hit the fan with hd i sold mine to a guy for $120 i already knew it was coming to an end.

8.00 is too much, you can find Blu-Ray movies for 10.00 at Pawnshops and the like.
eBay is your friend.
I actually got mine for free and wound up selling it for 75.00 as I recall...
Re: Anyone have a 360 HD-DVD player?
I looked on ebay and many of them were actually selling in the 40-80 range... most started wicked cheap though. I really wasn't asking to buy one from anyone, but extinct or not, $8 is a great price in my mind for good quality movies that I would watch or use to show off a system. Sure you can get cheap blu-ray movies... but some of the super big show-off movies that cheap? Matrix movies, 300, the Bournes, etc - most of those types still sell in the $20-35 range.
JB, I appreciate the offer. I'm interested in it, but am trying to keep to saving money for a while...
Just because the format lost doesn't meant the quality isn't fantastic - as long as you realize you'd be buying them and won't have the ability to get more in the future :-) I just thought it was a pretty good sale price for anyone who still might have one... I guess 360 or not - I really didn't need to include the 360 part in the topic.
