AHF , aren't you the guy that always wants Manu in there in the fourth, no matter what he's been doing the rest of the game?

1)I was talking about when tony entered the game: 5:12 Spurs 87 jazz 83, that was not a 9 point lead as you were posting earlier.Quote:

3) look in the other threads, I completly agree that Manu was the best player and I know Tony had a bad game.
I am just saying that Pop was right putting him back to finish the game.

Shoogar,
Yes, and I think Manu has more than proven that he deserves to be there at the end. Tony is getting to that point, but I don't think he's necessarily at that point yet where no matter what you play him.
Wow, you got me talking French. Such a big man, speaking in a foreign language.
I believe Rasho and Beno would say Yeb vas to that one.
Tony has come up just as clutch in 4th quarter games this season as Manu and shown he deserves to be there till the end. How quickly you forget his clutch shot vs. Clippers at the SBC center or his perfect pick and roll pass to the open Duncan vs the Cavs and even today he came in and hit those 2 clutch FT's in a tight game, even though he wasn't having his best offensive game of the season.
Spurs fans are very tough critics. Once a player has an off night, people forget what he has done previously.
So, then there's one rule for Manu and another one for everyone else, including Tim?
Tony and Manu can do it. Manu is just a little bit more experienced than Tony but, Tony is catching up BTW he's only 22 years old imagine how good he's gonna be at his prime. Close games the line should be Duncan Horry Parker Ginobili Barry
I'd say so.
I've seen Manu play like ass for three quarters and then go nuts down the stretch, he just knows how to win.
I can probably count the number of times Tim has played great down the stretch after having a bad first three quarters on one hand.
Tony's getting better at it, but tonight was not one of those nights, and Beno should have got the nod.
For past two games Manu really went UP in 4th quarter scoring, +10 in the final periods for both of the games.
Sorry AHF, I have some trouble to talk in english and I have no clue about Slovenian, so I don't understand anything of your last post.
So now Manu > Tim, despite all that Tim's done?
Sorry, but when it comes to Manu people around here just tend to lose any sense of objectivity.
^^Why, Horry? He honestly hasn't done shit to show his clutchness or to show he deserves it. I'd rather have Rasho, at least he plays D.
Chances are Pop will put in Horry so I just go with can't change Pop.
No one has said that Manu > Tim.
Great going Shoogar! Now the Manu followers are going to come after you :lolQuote:

I'm not trying to discount Tim or take anything away from what he's done, but at the end of the games I want the ball in Manu's hands.
Every once in a while, that may change and I may say make Duncan the first priority, but all things being equal I'd rather have Manu with the ball at the top of the key with the clock winding down.
It depends if the spurs have the lead or not...Quote:

HAHAHA. It's ok, they already think I'm a traitor to all basketball-kind since I attend the Church of Tony :)
I see Tony and Manu much more as two mafia godfathers than as bishops
You know, people did the same shit when Manu had an off game with like 7 TOs. Now its with Tony. Why don't you guys just SHUT THE FUCK UP and enjoy the win why don't ya. Jesus, both Tony and Manu fans make this way too fucking personal, get a fucking life, they will BOTH have off games, GET USED TO IT!!
