Rasho hasn't GAF the whole season until after the All-Star break. He's finally playing like he cares.
Congrats.
I want to see which Rasho shows up for the playoffs.
He's definitely picked up his intensity since the all-star break, and I'd say he's upped it another notch after the Malik trade.
With the other team shooting in 50%, 2 Points and 4 Blocks is Like 6 Points, but when you Block four times, the players think twice before take a shot
"You never stepped up for Rasho". WTF does that mean? I gave him props in three different threads since yesterday night. I've even started one myself making fun of your friend Sequ.Quote:

I am not a hatter but, like almost everybody in this board, I believe the guy is a good deffnesive center, but his offensive game sucks bigtime (and he is a little bit on the soft side).
Ye that would be interresting, i think i never heard rasho speak english before, i wonder if he speaks anything like beno lately...Quote:

"before Nazr trade"
OK, good point. Since we don't _know_ why, what's your guess?
1. Did the Spurs trading away Malik, a Spurs fixture, part of the damn Spurs woodwork, scare Rasho that it could happen to him, too (and REALLY likes it here in SA)?
or...
2. Do you think Rasho is scared that Nazr could, sooner or later, demote Rasho to backup 5?
I don't think it is restricted to BN and AN....nor, do I consider that an opinion of fools. I do agree that Rasho has been on again and off again. I just think that some people are starting to watch with more awareness and understanding of what Rasho does offensively and defensively to help the team play more efficiently.Quote:

I'd like to give an example of Rasho on offense and some of the little things he does that others don't consistently do.
Robert Horry gets the ball on the baseline and makes a surprisingly unabated move to the basket for an outstretched dunk. Fans might see that play and say, great pass to the open man and an even better aggressive move to the cup by Robert. What they might not notice is that Mehmet Okur was being detained (locked-up) by Rasho in the lane, keeping the baseline free for Robert. That's system basketball.
When TP or Manu come off the side or middle screens with Timmy or Robert, we sometimes scratch our heads at how the Red Sea parts and there is free space after the first wave. Why? Because Rasho comes across from the other block and seals the help defender (usually his own defender led out of the way) in a fairly smooth but crafty manner.
You just have to watch more guys as a play develops but, with practice, is an acquired and developed ability.
^^^ That shit doesn't matter though Solid, I mean, ask the resident experts here in the forum.
Thanks for calling me a fool because I disagree totally!Quote:

His role in Pop's system is very precisely defined and I think that everybody knows what Rasho's priorities must be according to Pop.
Now could he be better? I certainly wish he would be. Should he be more aggressive? Same answer. BUT ONLY IF IT DOES NOT AFFECT WHAT HIS PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS ARE! Because what he brings to the game currently is important to this team's results.
I also think that his popularity on this forum has improved much more after his ankle injury than after the Nazr trade. He has steadily improved since coming back from injury and fans have been paying more attention.
And please stop confusing his timid and modest demeanour with fear and/or lack of interest. Believe me he cares. He cares about winning as much if not more than any fan on this forum.
I know the Christian thing to do is turn the other cheek, but I'm not that religious. So AHF STFU you moron!
Solid, I have watched every single game. I'm not comparing by stats alone. Do you or do you not believe that Rasho has been playing better lately?Quote:

Yes, I think he has been playing better since his ankle has become more stable. I think he has played at this level off and on throughout the season.Quote:

I get frustrated when he doesn't dunk and when he's not keeping his head and hands up and ready for passes (like against Chicago).
Rasho dominated the game on defense, especially in the fourth. Okur could get any shot he wanted while Duncan was guarding him, but Rasho shut him down and controlled the lane at the same time.
It was kind of cool to see how much a player could dictate the flow of the game without putting up any numbers statistically.
Totally agree, the only exception I would add is that he's been playing decently since February, some people seem to think it conicided with the trade of Malik/Nazr but that's not accurate....Quote:

Now he has been pretty much on. And it's much more noticeable what he does on defense.
I've seen almost every game, and there is a big difference in the Rasho right now and the Rasho pre injury.
Will Rasho play tonight or he is ill?
I heard on the Ticket radio that Rasho should play tonight and that Timmy could play, also.Quote:
