I bet Tony is feeling a little responsible for the loss against the Sun and is taking his anger out against the Nuggets :)
Nazr is impressive. I'd rather have him out there than Horry. Does he play the PF position also?

tp shoots better then ai
Nazr can play PF also. Getting fantastic position for offensive boards and tips.
Barry looked like he was fouled but they call foul on him instead. Ha! Najera misses both FTs. Parker tries to split Boykins and Najera and TO. :( Boykins fastbreak 3, good. :( :( Tony Tony Tony. Devin misses high baseline jumper. Spurs50-46 at half.

Not bad for Nazr.
I jinxed him
Nazr needs to get less fouls, I didn't see the first one but Pop got a T for it, and I'd like to see someone else like Brent put his hand up after that foul, I know Nazr isn't Tim Duncan but with the way he was playing at that point we could have used him longer....
Barry is making Melo look like a fool, that's why. Barry's just been a little too eager to drive the point home and has gotten caught by the help.Quote:

For those who are not watching the game. The nuggets are pressing full-court and doubling the dribbler, particularly on the sides. They are trying to force hurries and mistakes and they did it a few times with Beno and now TP at the end. They lead the league in steals. TP needed to pass the ball in that situation because Boykins is too low to try to split and short-dribble like that.
Parker and Beno (and the rest of the Spurs) need to calm down a bit. They're getting caught up in the Nuggets frentic style and throwing the ball away, a lot of is unforced. A little better care of the ball and the Spurs would have a solid lead.
Denver isn't going to play consistent defense in the half court, the shots are always going to be there.
Not to say I told you so, BUT Brent is looking much better playing some pick and roll ball tonight/creating for himself than camping out behind the line waiting for the kickout.

Pop didn't take him out due to foul trouble, he's only got two. Wish we would have kept him in there longer. We were dominating the glass with him in, either from him getting rebounds straight up or clearing out someone to give another Spur an easy board.
You better be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. Personally, I would love to make Showbie cry one more time.Quote:
Go Spurs go....oh and Kobe's the shit....21 points in the 4th Q...even though it was against the Bobcats...we'll take the win.
parker has one turnover
beno has 3
devinbrown has 3
spurs have 6 turnovers
their turnovers have been good
Hmmmmm, 1+3+3=6?Quote:

The press and doubles are causing the Spurs to rush. They just need to play under control and poised.
29-16 on the boards is great, though!
WTF is Horry's problem hanging onto the ball?
Nazr seems to be playing better defense tonight.
I would like to see Pop try the four down with Nazr.
I don't think that'd be a very good idea. Nazr has no range and isn't exactly known for his passing.
Robert Horry sucks, almost as much as Brent Barry. I can't believe that Tony Mass is our second leading scorer. Whatever happened to our deep bench? The thing that was supposed to carry us far into the playoff's and to the finals? It's been MIA for a good month now.
WTF? Nazr trying to skywalk the lane then drop-off to Mass.
Just the way it was drawn up, no doubt.
Nazr doing a great job on the boards.
