LP starts the first day of the regular season and ends the last. You don't get any pre or post game.
I've had it for years. I prefer the games on my TV and I watch every one so it's well worth it for me. I'm not in a blackout area for the Spurs, so the only games LP won't have are the national ones. (Or the Lakers/Clippers which I get on the local channels). It works well for me.
It probably would be silly getting it now, only a few weeks left.
