Who are the Spurs biggest rivals

I don't "hate" the Lakers. I actually (covering head now) like the Lakers when they are not playing the Spurs. How can one not respect the battles between these two teams in the Duncan/Kobe era? Granted, the Lakers have more ownage on the Spurs on a series by series basis. But I look forward to a possible Lakers/Spurs matchup every year in the playoffs. I was sure it was going to be Spurs/Lakers part 7 in the Conference finals this year before Ginobili went down. Now I'm hoping but not expecting it.

EDIT: How can anyone call the Suns a rival? The only time the Suns have downed the Spurs in the playoffs post-Jordan was in 2000 when Duncan was out. San Antonio OWNS Phoenix, pure and simple.

Lakers, no one else even comes close.

And I'm sorry but anyone that thinks Mav, Sun, Jazz or even Rocket Fan can hold a candle to bandwagon LakerFan as far as sheer obnoxiousness, well you just haven't been a Spur fan long enough.

They're tame now and their numbers are small from a 5 year title drought....hopefully it'll stay that way.

There is no bigger dickhead, ass, punk, douchebag in all of Pro Sports fandom than bandwagon Lakerfan....and what really proves what punks they are is that soon as the Lakers lose or aren't winning as much, they disappear as quickly as they arrived.

I disagree. Maybe in basketball but overall in the 3 major sports, no one and I mean NO ONE is worse than YankeeFan.

The Lakers are not....the Celtics are. Yet the Lakers talk more shit than any other two teams fans combined.

That simply hasn't been the case. Sure there are few more Celtic doucebags than there were before, but it's not an infestation like it becomes when the Lakers win.

The Celtics have to reach back to the 60s to become more relevant.

LakerFan definitely rates a very close second based on my personal experience. I know no Yankee fans who are not complete and total cock-gobblers. I know a few Laker fans who aren't.

I'll admit it's a competitive race...

CowboyFan is in that race too...and I'm a Cowboy fan. But they have some of the worst douchebag bandwagon fans as well.


As far as non-marquee franchises...RocketFan does rank among the top douchebags in all of pro-sports.


As far as fans of teams that haven't won shit, Mav and Sun Fan are both top 5 douchebags.
