The guy certainly isn't bringing much imo. I thought he would be able to help the Spurs, but I ain't seen shit so far.

I guess you haven't been watching..
Spurs did not lose because of Gooden last night.
actually last nite, Gooden was the 2nd best big man behind Duncan. So the answer to that is no.
on that note: Houston 108, Portland 81
gooden has a nice range of offensive moves. his defense is lacking in some depatments, but he's not yet fully acclimated so that's expected.
he could've been more effective if Pop didn't have his head up his ass for most of the 2nd half. he's (Gooden) not really the one to place the blame on ...
3 for 9 from the field is good?! Really?
Hey, if LamarCus Aldridge had been able to shoot that well, the Blazers might have been competitive last night.
Is 3-12 good? I guess Gooden > Aldridge. 7 points, 3 rebounds in 30 minutes for LA. 8 points, 4 rebounds in 18 minutes for Gooden.
This is all you've got?
I understand the Rockets raped the Blazers and all their fans of their manhood yesterday, but this is all you came up with?
:td
You and the Blazers need to step up your game.
LOL at tlong discussing Spurs business to block out the ass beating his Blazers got yesterday.
Lol 3rd degree burn
Your question was "is he underachieving", which suggests a pattern, so taking the last few regular season games into account, he's clearly not.
If you actually wanted an answer, and aren't just being a fucking dick like usual, then you should ask the correct questions. 3 for 9 from the field is not a good shooting night, and he only had 4 rebounds, granted they were all offensive. In addition, he actually managed 2 free throws in a night where the rest of the team only got 10 attempts. In my opinion, he was part of the best lineup the Spurs put on the floor last night, and he wasn't given much time in the second half.
I'm FAR more concerned about the willingness of the coach to put him in the game, much like you should be far more concerned about your team getting Yao Ming to miss a shot.
:owned
tlongII needs to worry about what happened to Batum and why he's done nothing over the last couple of weeks. As a starter since the first week of April, he's averaging 3.2 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.1 assists and 0.1 blocks.
That's taking the rookie wall to a whole new level :wow
This thread isn't about the Blazers.
And who cares about the regular season? I always thought that the regular season was irrelevant to the Spurs and their fans?
Batum has a sprained ankle and the flu.
Talk about underachieving.. Oden must be top on the list
I think Portland overall is underarchiving... oh, wait... Oden has a sinus infection...
:lol
