I think the Spurs players are going to win game 2 IN SPITE of whatever gameplan/coaching Pop has cooked up for tonight.
They're champions and frankly I think they're tired of drama...how many times have the Spurs put themselves in a hole to grind it out to win the series...I think they've done that every year. We don't have time for that this year.

I'm rooting for you Spurs. As a Laker fan, I want to see them play no one else but the Spurs in the WCF. We're out for blood and as soon as we drop these fools from Utah we'll be more the hungrier! Can't let a slack-jawed team like Dallas push you around what happened?? First Lakers win over Arco arena and Sacramento one of our rivals turns into Staples Center II. I don't want to see another rival get demolished and because the Celtics don't have KG this year and they suck so beating them in the Finals won't be as gratifying and Cavs are a one-man show. Most of the times It's always been Lakers vs Spurs in the WCF that's always been the real show of the playoffs.

You know, the little league baseball team that I was on in 3rd grade won the championship that year. Now, I'm 32 years old. It's unwise to think that my coed adult softball team will win the title this year because I was a champion 25 years ago.
Today is a new day. Regardless, though, I think this series will be fantastic. I'm not real caught up in who will win the series as I think we all love a good Mavs/Spurs playoff series. Good luck to both teams!

Why the hell do they put us on as the 2nd game of a double header when both teams are in the Central Time Zone? WTF is that all about.
i understand and East coast game followed by a West coast game but this is just stupid.
Wouldn't it make more sense to put us as the first game at 7 central and then the Lakers or Portland at 9:30?

Well i will be at the game on Thursday and Saturday in Dallas so they can show it wherever the F#ck they want!
But i understand it is on NBA TV. At least it is at 7:30 and Saturday's game at 3 p.m.

Not last year. I'm fairly sure that the 1st round against Phoenix went entirely on TNT, ABC and ESPN last year, since I didn't have NBA TV back then and I saw all the games.

expect to see less of kurt, whom the matchups do not favor. expect more bonner plays offensivley and maybe a little zone in the 2nd or 3rd depending how hot they are. alot of lane clogging stuff. make em' beat you from the perimeter. some good rotation and a healthy dose of bruuuuuuce bowen is what im waiting for. bowen on dirk late in the game, still bonner on dirk to start. bruce comes in with jason terry to stop momentum. less reliance on rmj. he was forcing it too much early on the other day. offensivley, expect more clearouts. more high picks for tony and more tp jumpshooting. penetrate and kick, back to the basics. more minutes from bench players will prolly also happen, with the freshness from the bench to give the defensive intensity in the late 3rd as is needed. gooden prolly to play with the bench more than the starters. 3rd 1/4 lineup prolly something like: tony finley ime gooden kurt/fabri. just my two cents. i have reasons for all this, but my fingers hurt. ask if you want.

Yeah, last year was nice because they got the matchup with the team the networks loved to carry. Seems like I've missed three or four playoff games because of NBATV, the only playoff games I've ever missed as a Spurs fan.
I don't know why they can't have a game on ESPN and TNT on the same night instead of carrying it where a fraction of people can see it, but that's why the NBA will never be the NFL.

What they don't understand is that they drive people to discover pirate sources over the internet, and instead of bringing more fans to watch the game they alienate them from the official sources. Or later than sooner. Just as streaming audio was gaining a foothold they went in and created Audio League Pass and started trying to charge for it before the technology was ready. Ten years later they still don't have all the technical kinks worked out of it, but at least now it's free when it does work. I actually listened to Spurs games streaming WOAI at one point before the NBA fucked it up.

I don't know about you spurs fans, but I want to see more playing time for that goofy white stiff you guys are playing at center. He is the mavs best player. Play him the entire game so the mavs can tear it up in the paint. Damp loves those uncontested shots.
