Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
No thank you - all you have to say about Iverson who also destroyed Philly when he would not share with the other AI etc. enough.

Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
To hell with Iverson, let him mess up another team!
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
The real thread title must have been :
Iverson to Spurs? 10K reasons Why Not do it.
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
Iverson and Spurs in the same sentence is just weird
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
Yes, sign Iverson!!! :rolleyes
I'd love to see him and Tony go at it in practice.
Oh yeah, I forgot, AI doesn't like practice.
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
Fuck Iverson. Keep his ass outta here.

Well, he can't, even if he wants to. I think that became pretty obvious this year in Detroit. Iverson can't change his game, therefore he is not a player that will give you 15 good minutes from the bench.
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
fuck that idea! iverson needs to retire.
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
:nope
Allen Owens and Terrell Iverson are one in the same. Think about how things go during that first "PRACTICE!"
:lmao
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
iverson is one of my favorite players. hes a dominant scorer. BUT he does not improve a teams offense. hes a great individual scorer but once you lock him down he doesnt have a smart play making abilities to be effective. thats the irony of allen iverson, great soccer that will actually make an offensive team worse.

Iverson loves coming off the bench. :tu
Re: Iverson to Spurs? Why Not?
He didn't want to do that for Detroit, what makes you think he will here?

I'd like to see how TP would react to being benched.

No and no. The Spurs do not want to become the place where old men and redheads come to die.

lol Iverson himself has said he will retire if he does not start...so I don't believe this is a valid option. And certainly not an option financially.

He wasn't conditioned because he had missed 2 weeks. They were going to work him into the rotation. He got impatient. He quit.
I am sure he will enjoy being the man on the Bobcats.

Iverson is the basketball version of Terrell Owens. He's only concerned about his touches and couldn't give a damn about winning or committing toward playing championship-level basketball, which, by the way, encompasses teamwork and great chemistry.
I hope he ends up with a losing team like the Clippers or Warriors. That way, he can get all the shots he wants, drive up his scoring average and lose every night. I'm sure that would make him very happy.
