So, from now on, any time there's an Obama admin fuckup, you guys are just gonna play the Iraq card?

Re: Another Blunder from the White House...
Well, thats what I get for not reading the news today about it.
Kind of still a big deal, though. Sending people into a panic for a photoshoot is fucking stupid, dont care who you are.

I didn't state that. that is an actual quote, but it does capture the politiacal idealuoge pretty well.whether it's sexual or not I have no idea. But I think it potrays a certain depth of thought.

Thanks. I figured you didn't but I'm glad you could see the implication :)

I think you'll see that a few people said it was stupid. But let's face it, no one will really care about this a week from now, will they? As far as "how important this event is in our lives" does it register even a 2 on the Emotional Richter Scale for the majority of the nation?
When Obama screws up majorly (like states secrets/FISA) then most of the liberals will call him out for it (and have). But don't expect us to make a big deal out of screwup that ultimatey didn't hurt anyone and was already apologized for.

I think the consensus is that the day "you guys" stop attempting to blame Obama for every single thing that not only goes wrong, but just against the right-wing ideals of perfection, he will stop being defended against things that aren't his fault.
Oh, and lambasting him for something like this after defending Bush for so many years over so many fuck-ups is the reason for the rebuttal of Iraq. It's kind of like Tracy McGrady talking down to Brandon Roy because he doesn't have any rings. :lol

Damn skippy.
Ain't it great having the blood of 3000+ dead servicemembers on your hands?
I will never EVER forgive the Republican party and right in general for defending the criminal negligence of the Bush administration's handling of post-war Iraq.
That albatross is exactly where it should be, around the collective neck of the Republican party.

You mean Joseph Goebbels, the guy who co-opted it from Hitler and modified it?

FAIL
Goering was the Air Marshal, ( Generalfeldmarschall of the Luftwaffe) however, not the Minister of Propaganda.
He said this:

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

Goebbels who was the Reichsminister of Propaganda said this:

What I find interesting is that we're supposed to be safer now that Obama has righted all the wrongs of the previous administration. The muslim extremists like us now that we've reached out to them and told them we won't torture them anymore.
So we shouldn't fear another attack - right? I guess all those New Yorkers didn't get the memo!

He hasn't. It's only you obsessed right wingers who are offering the ridiculous assertion that Obama is beyond reproach from the left. Not a single person on this board, no matter how left-leaning, has stated that Obama has fixed everything. In fact, most of us have stated how he hasn't even had time to do much good, either. I'm still on the fence about Obama's presidential term, because IT'S TOO EARLY TO TELL how it's going to do as president. But don't let that get in the way of convincing yourself that anyone who voted for Obama automatically sees him as the son of God reincarnate. :toast

Ahhh, the broken record of the right, after losing an election. I don't love Obama. Most posters on this board, even the "crazy lib'ruls" don't love Obama. We are just happy to see a president in office who isn't willing to completely annihilate what little respect the rest of the world has for us just to make his oil chairman V.P. happy and be buddy buddy with big business.

No most of his buddies are in banking.....Even crazy libreals, well no I shouldn't say that even most democrats especially those that supported Hilary were able to see a huge Media blitz to shove obama down peoples throats I mean even Hilary's people spoke out against it.

I supported the war in Iraq when it first started, too.
Of course, that was before I realized president Bush completely, openly lied to the entire American populace about intelligence had received concerning WoMD, before the Bush administration tried to make an incredibly ridiculous ploy on linking Iraq to Al-Qaeda in order to stoke the fears of the populace into becoming accepting of a war that they had lied about, before Bush sent troops into Iraq without so much as armor on their vehicles, and before I realized that it was nothing more than an obvious grab for money by Bush and Cheney to have access to oil so that they could give Haliburton a no-bid contract.
After those things happened, I revised my opinion on Iraq just a little bit. I guess it was my fault for not suspecting our president of lying to the American people.

Oh yes that slippery old bush. Now Let's get this straight I',m supposed to believe that some of the most astute bloodthirsty political sharks on the entire planet, are in fact fifteen year old catholic school girls who somehow got lured into the broom closet by a village idiot from texas.Well your free to live with that illusion if you like, god knows we all have different ones, but please don't ask me to buy it.

You mean you changed your mind after being force fed the anti-war propaganda for 7 years. The libs did their best to constantly talk bad about the war - like "the surge has failed, the war is lost" Harry Reid. And the media went right along with it - only telling the bad stuff and spreading the propaganda every night.

No. It was all of the information that came out afterward that changed my mind. I am mildly surpprised that you and the other dead enders are oblivious to all of the information that has come out after the fact that refuted most of what bush sold..
