With no Manu, Pop lost his ever loving mind...should have played Hill more...Should have given Gooden some minutes in Game 5...No defense..bad coaching..bad decisions...we didn't even try to intimidate. Well Dallas. GREAT WIN and good series.

Spurs just stunk it up. The way we played even with Manu it would have been tough so no excuses at all for Manu not playing.

Spurs looked out of sorts all year.

Now if Dallas can win the next series I think you guys will have enough confidence to actually contend for the Championship. Dallas has a lot of weapons on offense and if you can keep hitting those jump shots it will make it very tough to defend you.

Last, but not least your coach is pretty darn good. I really like Rick and think he acted with class all series. lol a lot better than AJ in my opinion.

Can't hate on the trashtalk...we are rivals, so the flames and all that are just part of the deal as well.

Mavs did what they had to do, Spurs looked like the weaker team all series. And after seeing how Portland has played against Houston (even though they're down 3-2), it wouldn't have made a difference had we played them instead.

Lack of role-player production reminds me of the early decade against the Lakers (back when Hedo was bricking shots for us). Overall, just wasn't our year.

Good series by the Mavs. They were simply the better team this time around. The Spurs, without Manu and lacking chemistry, just didn't ever have the weapons to answer, and Dallas has played inspired so far, hitting the shots when they count.

Big props to the Mavs. They played better and were more consistent and deserved to win this series. Dirk was huge in Game 5 -- apparently playing through some pain -- and Kidd and Terry were basically unconscious from behind the arc when it mattered most. The Mavs defended well enough to win and were just much better on the offensive end.
