Any Spurs fan tempted to root for the Lakers need to see a therapist...

If Cavs win a ring, Spurs don't have to deal with pompous Cavs fans in the West coast since most of the NBA fans in the west are Laker Bandwagoners, who will be bitching about Lebron's hype....

The key is to root for a team that has a chance. :lmao @ rooting for teams like the Mavs, Rockets or Bulls. They don't stand a chance. It looks like it'll be either the Lakers, Cavs or maaaaaaybe the Nuggets if they stay extremely hot.

But the Lakers are the Lakers and the Nuggets have tried to kill Manu too often for me to root for them. That leaves the Cavs who happen to be built in the Spurs' image.

Easy choice.

In basketball though, LeBron all the way. Even without the Spurs connections I like LeBron better than Kobe and Phil.

Besides...LeBron took his Spurs asskicking like a man in 07, only fair that he get to dispense a little, and I can't think of a better recpient than Phil and Kobe.

I could see a conundrum though...should by some odd occurrence the Lakers and Rockets meet in the WCF, I'm really torn on who to root against more in that potential series....

OTOH, I hate the freakin' Rockets too. I hate their fans, I hate their 95 title, I hate LUIS FUCKING SCOLA, and I hate Rocket Fan.....possibly more than it's humanly possible to hate something...still, the Rockets have produced some Spurs heroes...

This could suck, I guess I can always root for armageddon instead of the Lakers or the Rockets.

Oh and the Cavs winning the title will help the Spurs' legacy. One day, little kids will be like how the hell did Bruce Bowen own LeBron James so badly in those 2007 finals. No one has been able to stop him since.
