Do the Spurs need to update their look?

Spurs jerseys/colors are fine. The old Fiesta colors were terrible, but the new scheme is one of the better ones in the NBA, as far as I'm concerned. Anything with black or blue as a base looks great.

i sawy we make the paint black with silver outlines where the players stand when trying to rebound a free throw and making the free throw circle silver

They should make the material of the jersey the same type as Detroit's, with that sleek look.

No, I dont think so, this their trademark, the colors. They jerseys are wonderful so i dont want to see them being changed. But maybe it would be cool to have jerseys with San Antonio written on the front, instead of Spurs? That would be really cool.

I say bring back the aluminium coloured jersey!

I understand what Buddy Holly is talking about. Think in terms of the change the Lakers made in 2000, or what the Sixers did this year.

And the answer is no. I believe the team had the option of going with one of those newfangled jersey cuts back in 2002. Duncan said no. The Spurs are old-school. So there it is.

When the team is winning 20 games per season in a couple of years, they can tweak the taping, side panels, number fonts, etc. to titillate the fans.

How about updating there fucking ROSTER!

A fan base that is willing to cheer at the games would be cool.

We need to come up with a some Secondary logos.
I called the Spurs to who would I submit my ideas too and...they got livid asking me why I would want to change the logo...and I told the lady well other NBA teams have Alt logos......

She didn't even know about other teams different logos...how stupid!!!!!


My suggestion for alt. jerseys....

Sliver Jerseys (Not the retro) w/ current font Black lettering Silver outline
Black Stripes on side /white trim.

Current (Road) All Black Jersey (no Stripes on side) but with Black lettering Silver outline

Or....
Current (Road) All Black Jersey (no Stripes on side) but with Black lettering Silver outline w/ white pinstripes.

The single spur is the alternate logo.

Silver and Black is badass... nothing to change there...
