New David Ray Griffin Book: Osama bin Laden, Dead or Alive?

The US’s political discourse and foreign policy in recent years has been based on the assumption that Osama bin Laden is still alive. George W. Bush promised as president that he would get Osama bin Laden “dead or alive” and has been widely criticized for failing to do so. The US’s present military escalation in Afghanistan is said to be necessary to “get Osama bin Laden.” The news media regularly announce the appearance of new “messages from bin Laden.” But what if Osama bin Laden died in December 2001—which is the last time a message to or from him was intercepted?

In this book, David Ray Griffin examines the evidence for the claim—made by everyone from former CIA agent Robert Baer to Oliver North—that bin Laden is surely no longer with us. He analyzes the purported messages from bin Laden and finds that, as many have suspected, they do not provide evidence of bin Laden’s existence after 2001. This leads naturally to the question: if Osama bin Laden did indeed die in 2001, how and why have dozens of “messages from bin Laden” appeared since then?

I think Bin Laden died many years ago. He asked to be killed and his body to be disposed of so that nobody will ever find it that way he can continue live in death bigger than he could ever live in life.

If he's dead, he's been dead far too long to have ever witnessed any of this...

I think he's been dead since November 2001. But, that's just me...and, I've been contradicted on this by the Bush administration, the CIA, and numerous other entities...

But, I've never been contradicted on this by any live appearance by Osama bin Laden since we bombed the fuck out of Tora Bora in November of 2001. Personally, I think he's greasing the very tiny space between two boulders in a collapsed cave on one of those mountainsides.

When they ran out of stock video footage of him wandering the Afghanistan hills, they started sending audio. When they ran out of that, they recycled audio. Now, every now and then, we get more audio...that is promptly certified to be authentic Osama bin Laden words.

If that fucker's alive -- and, if he was alive after November 2001, we'd of seen him in a video that proved it definitively...He was too much of an attention hound to resist the temptation. He's the Chuck Schumer of terrorism.

I don't recall President Bush ever saying, definitively, he believed Osama bin Laden was dead or alive. Did he?

Or, if you're referring to the fact the Bush administration and CIA contradicted me when I stated my belief he was dead; that was based on their assessments the voices in those tapes was authentic.
