Necessary or not there is truth to it. Its pretty much cliche that Boston is chock full of bigots. The scenes that we saw from the post 65 civil rights era of swarms of bigots surrounding buses of black students throwing things and screaming obscenities as they are held back by the police and national guard were not just from Birmingham and Jackson. Would that be such a bad investment, Timmy and Sheed play less minutes while mentoring the next generation of Spurs big men. The Spurs don't neccesarily have to go through lean times when Tim decides to hang 'em up.
4 years is too much..I'd definitely give him 3, and it seems like that's what he wants..
Not that Sheed is Tim Duncan, but if Duncan gets injured or sits for rest, Sheed can play that spot along side Splitter. I'm just wondering how much he has left in the tank. Does he still have a post up game or has he resigned himself to just chuckin up 3's ?
