DrewGoodenThe teams I wouldn't mind going to, Spurs, Cav's, Magic, and Golden St! What do you guys think?

Golden St????
The Spurs don't have room to sign Dice and Gooden. The Magic have been in the market for a big who can replace Gortat and Battie so Gooden makes a lot of sense. If he can be had for $3-4 million a year, he's a pretty good buy.
i hope not i want gooden to stay but very unlikely
I'd rather have Gooden than Bass for sure.
Do we still have the LLE or was that used on haislip?
Please let Gooden go.
I could've sworn that Gooden lives in the Orlando area.
I'd rather have Bass than Gooden. Let Orlando have him.
The one obviously huge advantage that RC Buford has over any of us is that he has already made the phone calls and knows who might be interested and who isn't at all... that's what makes judging any rumors or moves so difficult. I agree with lots of people here now who say that McDyess is the best remaining option, but for all we know that offer's already been made and rejected. And the same might be true for Bass and a number of others.
In situations like this I always think back to an interview I read with Phil Jackson many years ago. He was asked about the off season before Rodman came and if getting a PF was the main priority. He said that was in fact the case and that he and the FO had sat down and made a list of PFs that they would want to pursue-- Rodman was 7th or 8th on that list. I've always thought what a stroke of luck it was for Chicago that options 1-6 were not available.
Gooden is so bad thank the lord baby jesus this is happening.
looks like Gooden wants to make a comeback with his former teams.
i saw that on twitter too. sounds like it, esp. since they lost gortat and gooden can hit kickout jumpers from dwight
Sounds like Orlando does not want Big Baby either.
Good. If the Spurs were looking at Gooden as a sort of fallback option, maybe this will accelerate their pursuit of Dice.
Gooden lives in Orlando. That's why he went there.
Stalker thread fail :lol
lol. Twitter strikes again
i think Spurs have called many free agents that they are interested in and laying out the groundwork. Spur's plan A may be: R. Wallace, A. McDyess; and if we fail to land those two, then Spur's plan B may be: D. Gooden, G. Davis, B. Bass, i think thats where the report comes that Spurs are interested; and imagine if RC or Pop never called D. Gooden, why would he list Spurs as still a possible destination.
Yeah, I'm thinking the Spurs and Gooden are still on good terms, and they might have already contacted him about possibly returning. Why else would he list them as a team he wants to play for? Not only that, but it was the first team he mentioned.
Rock-chalk!
Also, if you remember all the quotes from Gooden when he signed with the Spurs last year, it sounded like he was really looking for a permanent team to finish off his career with, and that San Antonio would be a great place to stay. I think the guy is a little burned out from moving around so much. If he can get comparable money to other teams, good playing time, and a good shot at a championship with the Spurs, who could blame him for wanting to be here?
I rather have bass cause he is a better defensive player than gooden
Dice is probably a better fit for the Spurs in that he is a hardworker, tough defender, and he fills our need for a good rebounder. But we give up some youth and upside with Gooden. Not sure who I'd rather have, but I definitely want one of them with Sheed off the market.
Hope Drew stays in Orlando.
