Was that sarcastic? I believe Sports Illustrated had him going 10th overall.
Time will tell how he truly ranks, but I cannot believe that a player in SI's top-10 went in the second round. I know that team execs have more info than them, but come on!! Really???

I've seen this before and it is just the perfect example of how much effort this guy gives on both ends. Also, if you watch Blair as that layup (that he eventually puts back) is shot, as soon as the shot leaves his hands Blair can see it's not good and starts running at it straight away. This guy truly does have an amazing nack for rebounding...

He seems like a fantastic rebounder, but a troubled defender.

Great post. My question is:
I know that he is only 6-7. For a PF that can be troubling, but I understand he has about 7-3 wingspan. Has his height ever effected his game negatively in any way? And do you have any comments on his wingspan and how that effects his game?

No. And you might think I am sounding Biased since I am a Spurs fan. But seriously no. He had 22 Points and 23 rebounds against 7 foot 3 Hasheem Thabeet last year in one game. He also had 23 Points and 22 Rebounds against Notre Dame and Luke Harangody who is 6'9 and 260 pounds the same season.

I can't help but wonder how much of his rebounding prowess was due to the ncaa rules of not prohibiting 3 in the paint...

It didnt help him that much. He hovers around the block a lot but doesnt sit in the paint like Shaq. He is in and out and times shots and angles really really well.
