I think Haislip is the only one that is a real threat to Gist's potential roster spot, but even then, the Spurs may see Gist as their future Haislip since he is 6 years younger.

It will be interesting to see who Haislip bumps down the line. We know the Spurs are not paying him to come sit at the end of the bench.

The Spurs have plenty of roster spots, don't they? Besides, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Gist is telling everyone this because more because he's confident than because he's counting on a spot.Quote:
