So you don't see the similarity? Horry was an older player with bad knees who showed up and contributed. McDyess is all those things but he plays hard every game and is much more of a beast on the inside.Quote:

In some ways McDyess is a better fit for the Spurs than Sheed, though i love Sheed a lot and obviously he's got a better offensive range. But Sheed is a very emotional player, which is sometimes a good thing but also makes him moody and some days he just doesn't seem to feel like being there. McDyess is a more disciplined, hardworking kind of guy, and those kind of players seem to fare better in Pop's system.
The last couple of times they've been in the playoffs Rasheed picked a really bad time to melt down and throw a fit on the floor. His numbers also plummetted last year, and went down during the playoffs.
